This event showcases the pioneering experience of Indigenous Climate Adaptation Plans in Brazil and the importance of clean, free flowing rivers for climate contrasting. It highlights how indigenous traditional knowledge creates robust territorial management tools as they serve as a blueprint for the Global Goal on Adaptation with examples of pollution such as methane emissions from the former Klamath River Dams or mining in the Putumayo River calling on UN bodies and observers help prevent damage to climate and life for all.
