Auf dem Bonn Climate Camp, das parallel zu den UN-Klimaverhandlungen in Bonn stattfindet, veranstaltet GegenStrömung gemeinsam mit der brasilianischen Organisation Movimento dos Atingidos por Barragens (Bewegung der Staudammbetroffenen) einen Workshop. Das Camp ist öffentlich zugänglich für alle, eine Akkreditierung für die Konferenz ist nicht notwendig.

We will explore the devastating human rights and ecological consequences of dams and how hydropower has been a false solution in many cases – promoted as “green energy” by those who profit. We will also talk about world wide resistance against dams and how to support the movement of affected people.
